Repeat everyday expenses in one tap
On Variable Expenses, your most common shops and categories now appear as quick tags (for example Aldi or Amazon). Tap one and the add form opens already filled with the category, amount, notes, and budget from your last similar entry—today’s date is set for you. Use the search icon to find anything else.
Search previous expenses when adding
Inside Add Variable Expense, you can search expenses you’ve logged before and pick one to prefill the form. Handy for groceries, coffee runs, or anything you enter often. Clear the suggested amount with the × if you want to type a new total.

Quick add appears when it’s useful
The tag row and search only show up after you’ve logged the same type of expense a couple of times—so new workspaces stay simple, and regular users get shortcuts without clutter.
Dashboard empty state opens the same add flow
When you have no variable expenses yet, Add on the dashboard report card now opens the same choice as the main + button (manual entry or receipt scan), not a stripped-down screen.
